In the island’s culture, peacocks are tied to the divine; their feathers embody immortality and spiritual awakening. The jungles of Sri Lanka, referred to as mythical Lanka in the epic Ramayana, become a "garden beyond time"—a place where even the air is thick with ancient legends. The painting merges reality and myth, inviting the viewer to step into an eternal Eden, where nature and the divine exist in unbroken harmony.
